Natalia A. Grasso’s experience includes conducting thorough research into complex legal issues regarding each client’s unique circumstances. She collaborates with attorneys in Butzel’s litigation teams to create solutions for clients that are backed by knowledge and capability. She prides herself on her strong ability to communicate and her creative problem-solving skills.

Overview

Prior to attending law school, Natalia was a legal assistant at a firm that specialized in special education law and interned at several different boutique firms in the metro Detroit area.

While attending Wayne State University Law School, Natalia was a founding member of the school’s Dean's Fellow program and was a national competitor and senior coach for the Moot Court program. She also served as an associate editor in the school’s law review. Natalia interned at the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan under Judge Drain and gained practical litigation experience with the State Appellate Defenders Office and the Federal Community Defenders prior to graduating law school.

Natalia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy with a double major in history and political science and double minors in philosophy and legal studies.

Natalia Grasso is a Law Clerk located in Butzel’s Detroit office. She was previously a Summer Associate at the firm, where she gained a wide range of experience across practice groups, but focused her time on creating a new legal template for the firm to utilize when appealing administrative decisions and on developing case strategies for criminal matters.
