The ChIPs Network, a global community of more than 7,000 women in tech and IP law and policy, recognized Sheppard Mullin as a leading law firm for gender inclusion. Out of nearly 250 firms, Sheppard Mullin received top scores for demographics tracking, diversity representation, and ongoing inclusion practices firmwide and within practice groups. This is the firm’s third appearance on the ChIPs Honor Roll.

“We take immense pride in our commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive workplace,” said Luca Salvi, chair of Sheppard Mullin. “This honor validates the firm’s dedication to making Sheppard Mullin a destination for top talent across all demographics.”

“We are excited to be recognized again as a firm where diversity, equity and inclusion are core values,” added Sheppard Mullin Intellectual Property partner and executive committee member Lorna Tanner. “We champion efforts using data to benchmark inclusion efforts across the industry and to help set new goals for the future.”

ChIPs Honor Roll is based on data analysis compiled for the Inclusion Blueprint, a joint initiative between ChIPs and Diversity Lab, which measures the actions firms take to create fair and inclusive workplaces. The firm has also been recognized as an “Inclusion Blueprint Champion” for multiple years.

“These firms demonstrated their hard work and commitment to tracking and taking action to ensure their talent practices at the firmwide and practice group levels are inclusive for all genders,” said Amber Carter, Director of Inclusion Innovations at Diversity Lab.
