Ramela Ohanian Named to Daily Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40”
Ramela Ohanian was named to the Daily Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40.” The annual list recognizes the “best California lawyers under 40,” according to the publication.
Ohanian was noted as an entertainment industry dealmaker, working with Amazon, Meta, Wondery and other high-profile clients. Notably, she negotiated all talent agreements for Meta’s “It’s KidSuper’s World” campaign last year, handled the bidding war for Amazon MGM Studios to acquire the rights to the documentary “Wildcat,” and has put together first-look deals for TelevisUnavision’s Spanish-language streaming service ViX.
In addition to her busy entertainment practice, Ohanian mentors law students and young lawyers, primarily from Loyola Law School and the Armenian Women’s Bar Association.
“I want to not only open the door for others, but frankly invite them in to take a seat,” Ohanian said in the Daily Journal. “And if for some reason I can’t, then we’ll kick down the door together.”
