In addition to co-leading the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, she is a member of the Privacy and Cybersecurity industry team, defending individual and class actions involving privacy, cybersecurity, data use and consumer protection including claims under CIPA and other wiretapping statutes related to online technologies. She also leverages her litigation experience to help clients build effective global privacy and cybersecurity programs.

Bratt, a partner in the firm’s Tax and Estate Planning practice group, was recognized as one of the most sought-after and widely respected trusts and estates and trust administration lawyers in California. She is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association and was involved in the passing of the California Uniform Trust Decanting Act, effective January 1, 2019.

Michaels was noted as a highly experienced litigation paralegal. A Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) with over 25 years in high-stakes litigation, she supports the firm’s Business Trial practice group, focusing on bad faith insurance litigation. Michaels has assisted in over 100 trials across multiple states and has worked with some of the most respected attorneys in the field. In 2025, she received a Certificate of Recognition from the San Diego County Bar Association.
