New York Office Ranks in Top 3 Best Places to Work in New York City
Sheppard Mullin’s New York office ranked #3 among Crain’s New York Business’ 2025 list of “Best Places to Work in New York City.” This is the 12th time the firm has been ranked on this list and the first time it has been named among the top three workplaces in the city.
Crain’s New York Business highlighted that the firm focuses on professional development as much as it does client service. Attorneys and staff in New York have access to mentorship programs and continuing legal education, which broaden skills and visibility. The firm's recognition programs highlight achievements, while wellness initiatives provide resources for mental health and flexible scheduling. Employees are also encouraged to participate in community service projects across the city. The mix of career development, recognition and civic engagement sets Sheppard Mullin apart in a crowded legal marketplace.
This year’s list ranked 81 companies based on their respective workplace policies, practices and demographics. To compile the ranking, Crain’s partnered with Workforce Research Group to collect data through questionnaires and employee engagement surveys focused on PTO, benefits, workplace culture and other factors that fuel workplace satisfaction and long-term performance.
