Coby Shirazi is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice 

Coby represents private and public companies, private equity funds, and individuals in a wide array of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, entity formation, equity arrangement, and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Coby was a senior associate at a regional law firm and KPMG LLP, specializing in taxation of domestic and international corporate transactions.

  • Represented CriticalPoint Capital in the sale of United Engineers & Constructors Inc.’s Power Delivery Business Unit to a subsidiary of Pike Corporation
  • Represented Lapmaster International, LLC, a portfolio company of Bison Capital, in its acquisition of assets of Revasum
  • Represented Bison Capital in its investment in Wyo-Ben
  • Represented a closely held company in connection with the sale of its proprietary recipes to a privately held company
  • Represented Bison Capital in its investment in its investment in Motorcar Parts of America Inc. (NYSE: MPAA)
  • Represented Vinyl Technology in its sale of equity to Survitec
  • Represented Envoy Mortgage in its sale to a real estate technology firm
  • Represented Beaumont Juice, LLC in its sale to Trivest Partners
  • Represented DZYNE Technologies in its sale to Highlander Partner
