Overview
Jenna Fasone is a Business Trial associate in the San Diego office, where she focuses her practice on healthcare and insurance litigation. An experienced commercial litigator, Jenna represents clients in state and federal courts in matters involving contract and coverage disputes as well as healthcare reimbursement litigation. Her work also spans first-party and third-party insurance bad faith, coverage disputes, class actions, insurance fraud, and unfair business practices. Jenna also defends clients in class action lawsuits in the healthcare and insurance litigation space, as well as in securities and consumer litigation. She is a trusted advisor to her clients at all stages of dispute resolution, from pre-litigation through appeal.
Jenna brings a practical, legal strategy-minded approach to complex disputes, shaped by her years of experience both before, during and after law school. Prior to attending law school, she led the Corporate Research and Investigations department at a complex litigation firm representing plaintiffs in consumer and securities class actions as well as shareholder derivative lawsuits.
During law school, Jenna gained early successes in litigation strategy and motion practice. While working for a criminal defense attorney, she drafted a successful Franks motion in federal court seeking suppression of evidence based on allegedly false information in a search warrant affidavit. Her advocacy led to a Franks hearing and, ultimately, the government’s dismissal of all charges before the court ruled on the motion.
Jenna is committed to pro bono and impact litigation, with an emphasis on immigration law. She has experience representing detained and non-detained clients before EOIR and USCIS, as well as litigating appeals arising from those matters.
Jenna’s approach to legal practice mirrors her philosophy in life: she strives to be both a student and a teacher—an outlook that informs her collaboration with clients, colleagues, and courts alike.
