Jennifer Hoffman is a partner in the Business Trial Practice Group at the firm's Los Angeles office, where she drives results as a key member of both the Insurance Defense Team and the Class Action Defense Team.

Areas of Practice

For nearly twenty years, Jennifer has vigorously defended insurer clients in a wide range of insurance-related litigation. She leads the defense of complex class action disputes against insurers throughout California and across the country, consistently securing favorable outcomes. Jennifer also excels in litigating individual cases involving novel coverage questions and extracontractual claims, building a strong track record in high-stakes, multifaceted litigation before state and federal courts.

Beyond her litigation victories, Jennifer proactively advises insurer clients on institutional practices and compliance issues. She delivers actionable, strategic advice to equip her clients to identify, assess, and mitigate potential exposures. Jennifer advises clients regarding complex and novel coverage questions under diverse first- and third-party coverages, including general liability, professional liability, advertising liability, automobile, life, homeowners, and commercial property policies.

Jennifer has also shared her expertise as a contributing editor to the Rutter Group’s Insurance Litigation California Practice Guide, California's premier resource for insurance law practitioners.
