Michael Morales is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's New York office. 

Areas of Practice

Michael concentrates his practice on high-stakes patent litigations in various technical fields, including wireless technologies, consumer electronics, semiconductors, automotive components, and computer networking. He has litigated disputes in many significant patent jurisdictions, including the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, District of Delaware, Northern District of California, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission. He has experience in all aspects of patent litigations—from pre-suit investigations through certiorari petitions—including early and dispositive motion practice, fact and expert discovery, depositions, witness preparation, claim construction, oral argument, and appellate briefing.

Prior law school, Michael worked as an electrical engineer making wireless communication components for space and military applications, including for the James Webb Space Telescope.
