Matthew A. McCalip

Matt McCalip is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group and serves as the co-leader of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions team. Matt is also an active member of the firm’s Healthcare and Private Equity teams.

Areas of Practice

Matt enjoys a wide-ranging practice that spans across several sectors. Matt focuses his practice on asset and stock acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships, and growth equity investments, and also regularly provides daily counseling to clients with respect to corporate formation, contracting and general governance matters. He represents public and private companies across the country in buy-side and sell-side transactions both large and small and at all stages of development, ranging from early-stage companies in their infancy to multinational corporations that include cross-border components.

Matt is particularly experienced in advising clients and executing deals in the healthcare, life sciences, private equity, software and technology, manufacturing, business and professional services, retail and media industries, among others.
