Overview

Natassia Kwan is special counsel in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.

Areas of Practice

Natassia has defended companies in a wide variety of litigation matters, against claims of product liability, false advertising, unfair competition, labeling, personal injury, and other contractual and tort claims, with a focus on FDA-regulated products in the pharmaceutical and food and beverage industry. In 2023, Natassia defended a civil litigation matter in trial in San Francisco Superior Court, which resulted in a defense verdict. With over a decade of complex litigation experience in state and federal courts across California, she works closely with clients to understand their business and minimize the impacts of litigation.

Natassia was recognized by the American Bar Association (ABA) as a “Top 40 Young Lawyer- On the Rise” in 2018. From 2019-2020, Natassia served as the Co-Chair of the ABA Mass Torts Committee.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Natassia served as a Deputy City Attorney on the Trial Team of the San Francisco City Attorney's Office.
