Patrick Lavery is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's New York office.
Areas of Practice
Patrick focuses on patent infringement and has experience across various industries and technologies, including mobile and wireless technology, medical devices, and consumer products. Patrick has experience in pre-suit investigations; drafting court documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs; managing discovery; claim construction proceedings; taking depositions; participating in every aspect of trial, including examining witnesses and arguing disputes before the court; and drafting post-trial briefing. Patrick has litigation experience in several federal district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission.
Patrick graduated Fordham University School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Information Law, and served as an Articles & Notes editor on the Fordham Law Review. While at Rutgers, Patrick was the captain of the Men’s Heavyweight Crew Team.
