Stacy Dominguez is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the Orange County office.

Areas of Practice

Stacy specializes in defense of disability access discrimination claims under both the Americans With Disabilities Act and state accessibility standards. Her experience includes defending and providing advice and counsel to restaurants, fitness companies, grocery store chains, home improvement and sporting goods stores, sports teams and venue operators, entertainment companies, the hospitality industry, and owners of commercial and residential properties, with respect to disability access claims relating to websites, physical locations, or company policies.

Stacy has extensive litigation experience, successfully defending disability access actions and winning defense judgments in favor of her clients. Stacy’s practice focuses not only on all aspects of litigation, but includes consulting on disability access issues to prevent lawsuits, advising on accessibility policies, and implementing policies and procedures to train employees about accessibility laws.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Stacy worked for another major law firm's Antitrust Group and spent several years handling general liability matters, including employment law, environmental litigation, professional liability, health care law, construction law, and general negligence defense in both state and federal court. She secured favorable results in complex, multi-party, large exposure cases for her clients. Stacy also performs work on a pro bono basis in matters involving Veterans Affairs, adoption, and social justice.
