Partner Elizabeth Chatham co-authored a Practice Pointer Article with attorney Laya Kushner detailing suggestions for navigating the biometrics process for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Biometrics-related issues have proven to be a challenging requirement for a wide array of immigration benefits and the article aims to assist members in counseling clients on this matter.

Elizabeth is a partner in the firm's Phoenix office. She advises Fortune 500 and 100 companies, fast-growth organizations, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, nonprofits and individuals on temporary and permanent U.S. immigration options, consular processing, naturalization and immigration compliance. She also conducts audits and trainings for corporate human resources personnel.

The AILA is the national association of more than 15,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law. AILA member attorneys represent U.S. families seeking permanent residence for close family members, as well as U.S. businesses seeking talent from the global marketplace. AILA members also represent foreign students, entertainers, athletes, and asylum seekers, often on a pro bono basis.
