Elsa Manzanares Named a Top Latino Lawyer by Latino Leaders
Dallas Partner Elsa Manzanares is recognized as one of the "Top Latino Lawyers in the Country" for 2020 by Latino Leaders magazine. Following a rigorous nomination and research process, she was selected for her impressive legal career, track record of success, and involvement in her community. This is the fourth year she has been recognized by Latino Leaders.
Manzanares serves as President-Elect of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association for Region XII (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana), and speaks widely on international trade topics. She is also actively involved in her community, serving as a board member of the Dallas nonprofit organizations Frontiers of Flight Museum and Friends of Solar Prep.
In her practice, Manzanares advises on U.S. and international regulations relating to imports and exports, including goods, services, software and technology. She regularly advises clients on the Export Administration regulations, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, U.S. Customs laws, anti-corruption compliance, and foreign investment reviews conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Additionally, she was appointed by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to serve as a panelist eligible to review antidumping and countervailing duty disputes under Chapter 19 of NAFTA.
