Stinson Named A Top Place for Women to Work by the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis
Stinson LLP is excited to announce that the firm has been recognized by the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis (WFSTL) as a top-scoring employer on its 2020 Women in the Workplace Employment Scorecard.
Stinson was recognized as one of 21 St. Louis employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to recruiting, retaining and advancing women employees. Honorees are chosen through a rigorous review process based on structural efforts and measurable outcomes that serve to advance women, such as compensation, leadership, flexible work policies and recruitment and retention efforts.
This recognition builds on Stinson's strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives, which are led by Ann Jenrette-Thomas, the firm's chief diversity and inclusion officer. The firm's diversity and inclusion efforts aim to create a diverse and welcoming environment for all, with flexible work policies, employee resource groups, and programs centered on career success and advancement.
"We value this award as positive reinforcement of our firmwide commitment to making Stinson a great place to work for everyone," said Jenrette-Thomas. "We strive to create a workplace where women can thrive. Recognitions such as this reaffirm that we are helping move the legal industry in the right direction."
Corporate Finance Partner Tessa Trelz noted "The Stinson partnership and its management value diversity and inclusion with authenticity and honesty. Part of that honesty is always acknowledging that there's more work to be done. With its eye on key factors that advance equity for women and its selection of this year's Employment Scorecard honorees, WFSTL has validated Stinson's special character and culture."
