Todd Phelps Named to Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame
Stinson LLP Partner Todd Phelps has been named to the 2020 class of Midwest Real Estate News' Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. Phelps was chosen for his extensive contributions to the real estate industry and the Twin Cities community.
He joins a group of accomplished brokers, developers, contractors, lenders and architects on this year's list. Additionally, Phelps is the fourth Stinson attorney selected to the Hall of Fame.
For over two decades Phelps has helped clients acquire, develop, construct, finance, lease and sell commercial real estate, including office, retail, industrial, assisted living facilities, agribusiness, hospitality and resorts, religious, mixed-use and multifamily properties. In addition, he represents private and family businesses, assisting as an outside general counsel with complex and day-to-day matters including ownership agreements, financing transactions, contract negotiations, dispute resolution, regulatory matters and corporate transactions.
Phelps is also a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, a Minnesota State Bar Association board certified Real Property Law Specialist, and serves on the faculty of the Minnesota Real Estate Institute. He is a longtime board member and current secretary of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities and a recipient of the National Service to Youth Award from the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
