AOB Reaches Amicable Settlement in Patent Litigation Case, Stinson Attorneys Serve as Lead Patent Counsel
Stinson LLP successfully represented American Outdoor Brands (AOB) in patent litigation matters resulting in an amicable settlement. Partners David Barnard and William Everding served as lead patent counsel to AOB.
The cases were against Vista Outdoor Sales LLC and Bushnell Holdings, Inc. AOB filed suit against Vista asserting patent infringement involving AOB Patent Nos. 11,118,884, 11,473,890, 11,486,684, 11,486,685 and 11,506,472, covering features of AOB's Frankford Arsenal® Intellidropper® electronic powder measure. Bushnell filed a suit against AOB alleging that certain AOB hunting blind products infringed Bushnell Patent Nos. 7,475,699, 7,717,124 and 7,984,725.

Prior to the litigation, the firm assisted AOB in obtaining the five patents asserted against Vista.
