Stinson LLP Of Counsel Amanda Laufer is featured in the Law360 article, "Stinson Continues LA Growth With Longtime NLRB Atty," which highlights her recent move to the firm’s newly-opened Los Angeles office and her 12-year career at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Laufer is the fourth attorney to join the firm’s Century City office, which opened in March as the firm’s first West Coast location. She notes the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s California expansion was a key factor in her decision.

"What’s exciting for me is to be involved in the early stages of the expansion to California, helping establish a West Coast partner for current and future clients," she said. "I think that was a major selling point [for me] as opposed to going to a fully established firm that operates in LA already."

She also shared what draws her to labor and employment law, describing it as a dynamic and evolving practice area that keeps her constantly engaged. "It’s never boring. Every case is different," she said. "It’s driven by facts and specific situations. You really get deep into the weeds of what’s going on in a particular situation. That’s what I thrive in and what I really enjoy."

Laufer brings public-sector experience from working for the NLRB that informs her thoughtful and strategic approach to advising clients on matters related to labor relations, union representation matters, internal investigations and workplace compliance.
