Sharon Ng Selected as Recipient of Jurimetrics Distinguished Alumni Award

Stinson LLP Partner Sharon W. Ng was presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (ASU) Jurimetrics Law Journal Banquet on Wednesday, April 10.

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors the above-and-beyond efforts and accomplishments of Jurimetrics alumni, celebrating the impact alumni are having in the community.

Selected in a unanimous vote by the Jurimetrics executive board, Ng is recognized for her mentorship and continued involvement with ASU law students, as well as her accomplishments as an ASU law student, Jurimetrics editor and attorney.

Ng has demonstrably impacted the legal community and has proven a commitment to advancing and supporting diverse attorneys. She remains actively engaged with ASU, fostering diversity and inclusion initiatives and mentoring current law students through the Advanced Scholars program. She is co-chair of Stinson's Litigation Associates Group, where she trains and mentors firm-wide associates who are in the first three years of their practice. Ng also served as co-chair of Stinson's Attorneys of Color Employee Resource Group for more than three years and played an integral role in launching the firm's annual Diversity Week. She is the immediate past president of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association.

Ng provides hands-on guidance in employment law to human resource professionals and business executives and effectively defends employers in workplace disputes, agency charges and litigation. She works with businesses of all sizes, including health care and technology companies, start-ups, international businesses, major financial institutions, insurance companies and Tribes and their business arms.
