Press Release
01.24.2025

Stinson LLP attorney Paulina Escobar has been selected as one of 16 associates to participate in the 2025 U.S. Bank Spotlight on Talent program. The year-long cohort experience focuses on building relationships and the professional development of rising talent at some of the bank's key law firm partners.

This year's program will kick off in Minneapolis at U.S. Bank headquarters with networking, learning opportunities, and goal-setting activities with bank attorneys and other executive leaders.

"We continue to be impressed by the associates we meet through the Spotlight on Talent program," U.S. Bank Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jim Chosy said. "We look forward to meeting and working with the 2025 cohort with the goals of furthering their professional development through unique exposure to our company and the in-house practice and strengthening our relationships with key law firm partners."

Throughout the year, cohort members will participate in leadership meetings, educational sessions, practice group roundtables, and social activities, and also work with a mentor and have the opportunity to make presentations to the U.S. Bank Law Division. Spotlight participants will strengthen their knowledge of the financial services industry and U.S. Bank's business and develop relationships with Law Division professionals and cohort peers.

"I'm honored to be selected and to join this group of attorneys. This experience will enhance my skills and help me grow as a leader," Escobar said. "I'm excited to learn from everyone and build those relationships."

Escobar helps clients navigate complex litigation issues related to state and nationwide class actions, consumer protection, product liability, antitrust and commercial litigation. She has represented clients in a variety of legal matters, including business torts, contract disputes, and white-collar crimes. As part of her insurance practice, Escobar assists businesses with claims and litigation under all types of commercial insurance policies, including property and business interruption, commercial general liability, directors and officers, employment practices and professional liability, and cyber. Escobar also defends clients in criminal investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and other government enforcement actions.

Cohort participants have three to six years of experience and practice areas relevant to U.S. Bank’s legal needs.

The Spotlight on Talent program will conclude in Fall 2025.
