Stinson Grows Regulatory Team in Washington, DC with Attorney Nerissa Hamilton-vom Baur
Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Nerissa Hamilton-vom Baur to its Washington, DC, office. She joins the firm’s Energy, Environmental, Mining and Transportation practice division, bringing deep experience in trade, compliance and intellectual property enforcement.
Hamilton-vom Baur most recently served in the Office of Trade, Regulations and Rulings at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where she advised on a broad array of international trade issues, including import compliance and IP enforcement. During her time at CBP, she was also appointed as a trade policy liaison to Congress, assisting with coordination on key trade initiatives.
With nearly two decades of experience and a background in government service, Hamilton-vom offers clients clear, strategic guidance through complex regulatory frameworks. Her practical approach helps business to balance legal compliance with operational realities.

She holds a J.D. from Vermont Law School and a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
