Alix draws on her experience in the Missouri General Assembly to counsel clients on the intersection of the law and public policy.
Overview
Leveraging her time as a staff member in the Missouri General Assembly, Alix provides clients with unique insight into the inner workings of Missouri Government. Alix uses this experience to provide clients with legislative drafting services as well as counseling on the legal and policy implications of current and prospective legislation.
Alix also frequently advises clients on election law and campaign finance matters. She has successfully had Missouri Ethics Commission complaints dismissed.
Her experience in state government informs her regulatory practice. Alix has represented clients in all stages of litigation at the Administrative Hearing Commission.
Experience
Alix assisted with the successful representation of a women’s health clinic at the Missouri Supreme Court.
She advises trade associations on legislative and regulatory matters, frequently representing client interests with executive branch departments.
She has helped successfully obtain favorable judgments for clients in front of the Administrative Hearing Commission.
Alix has also helped successfully defend state wide ballot measures from court challenges.
