Amy thrives on working with clients to create estate and gift planning solutions tailored to their unique goals, needs, and family situations. With focus areas in estate planning; charitable giving; complex gifting and trusts; gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning; probate, estate and trust administration; and business succession planning, Amy assists clients of all types including individuals and families.
Experience
Advises individuals and families regarding crafting an estate plan that meets the client's needs for current needs and future generations.
Works on complex trust formation and gifting, as well as gift tax compliance reporting to the IRS.
Assists clients with estate and trust administration and preparing tax reporting as needed for estate tax returns.
Amy is dedicated to her community and works as a pro bono attorney for clients of the firm's Deinard Legal Clinic, most frequently in guardianships and estate planning.
Amy values clear writing that conveys to clients the meaning of their legal documents. She worked as a writing and literature instructor in college and a legal writing instructor in law school.
