Overview
Andrew brings experience working at a boutique law firm in Washington, DC where he focused his practice on federal tax matters, including federal income tax planning, audit defense, tax refund litigation, and international tax compliance. He also researched, analyzed, and drafted memoranda and opinion letters concerning various federal tax topics including the characterization of income from the sale of emissions credits and the requirements and eligibility for the advanced manufacturing incentive credit enacted in the CHIPS act.
Prior to beginning his legal practice, Andrew served in the United States Navy for ten years as a Naval Aviator where he honed his critical analysis and risk assessment skills. He flew missions over Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve at the onset of conflict with ISIS and ended his naval career after serving as an aircraft carrier catapult and arresting gear officer.
During law school, Andrew gained legal experience working as a law clerk for an international real estate developer and manager in Tampa, Florida.
