Overview

Anne Marie is experienced in working with employers on a variety of traditional labor and employment issues.

Anne Marie focuses her traditional labor law practice on aiding employers—in unionized and non-unionized work environments alike—in navigating the complexities and challenges of labor law. Anne Marie is well-versed in representing employers in collective bargaining—both with first contracts and in longstanding bargaining relationships, labor arbitration, and unfair labor practice and representational matters before the National Labor Relations Board. Anne Marie also regularly counsels unionized employers on contract interpretation, adhering to the National Labor Relations Act, grievance administration, and in maintaining positive labor relations. In working with employers in non-unionized work environments, Anne Marie trains and counsels management across various industries in responding to a variety of labor issues, including union campaigns for representation, changes in, and compliance with, the labor legal landscape, and maintaining positive employee relations through affirmative employee relations efforts.

Complementary to her traditional labor law practice, Anne Marie counsels on and litigates employment issues ranging from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower claims, complaint investigations, disability and related leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations and the interactive process, sick/family leaves of absence and related policies, separation and noncompetition agreements, and the development, review, and implementation of personnel policies for a compliant and effective workplace.
