Ashley is dedicated to understanding each client's business and industry to provide thoughtful representation at each stage of litigation.
Overview
Ashley represents a wide range of companies in employment and complex business disputes, whether matters are pending in federal or state court or before an administrative agency. Her areas of focus include:
- Employment discrimination claims under federal, state, and local statutes and claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act
- Wrongful termination, retaliation, and whistleblowing cases
- State law contract and tort claims
- Litigation concerning a variety of issues for oil and gas companies, including surface damage disputes, service company and other contractor disputes, and disputes involving the calculation and payments of royalties.
Ashley provides practical business and legal solutions in all areas of employment law compliance, and she regularly counsels and trains employers on a wide variety of matters including hiring and firing, employment agreements, leaves of absence, disability issues, wage and hour compliance, and preventing discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Ashley also has conducted sensitive workplace investigations for employers.
Ashley also has experience in the direction of large-scale document collection and review projects, including custodian interviews and collection of electronically stored information.
