Denyse represents clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on a wide range of public utility regulatory matters.
Overview
Denyse has presented numerous matters before the FERC, including natural gas and electric utility tariff and rate proceedings, various proceedings involving the operation of regional transmission organizations, regional transmission planning and cost allocation, and petroleum pipeline proceedings.
She has also worked on contract and regulatory matters for privately-held utilities, municipalities, cooperatives and public power as well as on new project certifications. She has extensive experience representing oil refineries as shippers in petroleum pipeline proceedings and representing shippers and customers in FERC litigation involving cost allocation and rates. She also represented state commissions before FERC in cost allocation disputes. She has also worked with clients on cost recovery of coal ash pond storage-related regulation and compliance matters.
