Jeetander's practice focuses on counseling, merger control, antitrust and false claims act litigation, multi-district class actions, and civil and criminal government investigations. He has handled matters across a wide range of industries including aviation, consumer products, energy, government contracts, health care, manufacturing, media, transportation and technology.
His clients value and benefit from his diverse industry experience, his ability to craft creative solutions and his candid and practical advice on resolving tough issues.
Jeetander maintains an active pro bono practice focused on obtaining justice for wrongfully convicted prisoners. He has litigated multiple civil rights appeals in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court and has served as amicus counsel in both district and appellate courts.
Prior to joining Stinson, Jeetander served as Special Counsel to an AmLaw 100 international law firm. His knowledge of Hindi and cross-border experience ensures that he is able to meet the needs of his clients around the globe.
Experience
Represented a national trucking company in a no-poaching antitrust class action in the Central District of California, defeating class certification and reconsideration of a narrower class after plaintiffs sought more than $100 million in antitrust damages before trebling.
Represented international airline in a criminal antitrust probe by the Department of Justice, resulting in no charges being brought.
Assisted with obtaining an unconditional merger clearance for a leading optical industry client in its multibillion dollar acquisition of an iconic eyewear company before the Federal Trade Commission.
Represented a Japanese auto parts manufacturer and its U.S. subsidiary in the Auto Parts Antitrust MDL.
Represented a national durable medical device equipment provider in a private antitrust lawsuit in federal district court in the Eleventh Circuit.
Counseled a risk intelligence platform in its recent launch as the world's first Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournament owned and operated by team organizations.
Counseled a leading IT design-to-distribution business process services company in its $2.4 billion acquisition of an information management company.
Represent a government contractor in a False Claims Act investigation by the Department of Justice.
Represented a leading U.S. manufacturer in a False Claims Act qui tam action, obtaining dismissal with prejudice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
