Dedicated to intellectual property law for over 30 years, Kurt focuses his practice on the acquisition, licensing and enforcement of patents and trademarks in the U.S. and abroad. Kurt's clients rely on his background in the mechanical arts and his keen understanding of IP to patent and protect designs involving mechanical systems and to help them navigate the intellectual property laws to achieve their business goals.
Experience
As the former managing partner of Senniger Powers, a large IP law firm which merged with Stinson in 2018, Kurt is skilled at guiding clients through the diverse technical and legal strategies involved in patent issues.
Kurt's deep understanding of the legal IP issues relating to the mechanical arts covers a broad range of inventions and patents including medical devices, construction fasteners, seismic construction, refrigeration, air handling systems, pipe rehabilitation systems, shooting accessories, battery manufacturing equipment, semiconductor growth and processing equipment, pneumatic tools, electric motors and others.
