Lauren E. Druessel

Lauren assists clients with forming limited liability companies and corporations and prepares a variety of corporate governance documents and contracts addressing various client needs. She also assists companies in connection with acquisitions, divestitures and mergers. Lauren has also gained experience in advising clients in the agribusiness industry on financings and equipment lease transactions.

Lauren assists on complex commercial finance matters and has represented originating lenders in multimillion dollar credit facilities in the agricultural industry. She has also assisted on numerous leasing and financing transactions involving assets that include grain handling and storage facilities, processing and manufacturing equipment and facilities and livestock facilities.

Lauren counsels lenders in connection with Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing transactions including advising on state-specific statutes, conducting legal due diligence and drafting assessment and financing documents. Lauren has assisted with closing PACE financing deals in various jurisdictions including Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.

In addition to her work assisting with acquisitions, divestitures and mergers and PACE transactions, Lauren counsels clients with the formation of non-profit organizations, including successfully receiving 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service. Lauren has assisted a variety of organizations including small youth sports organizations, a community activist organization, and a community art center in navigating the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt application process.
