Overview
Nanette is a highly-experienced litigator and a trial attorney who has considerable experience in nationwide complex litigation. She provides pre-litigation counseling, advocacy throughout litigation, and the appellate process. She evaluates various factors throughout the litigation process, including client expectations, anticipated costs and the opposing party's desired outcome, and has successfully resolved disputes through strategic motion practice and alternative dispute resolution.
Nanette has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including complex commercial and civil litigation, tort and personal injury actions, oil and gas litigation, Title IX claims, medical malpractice, class action claims, municipal law, and a variety of employment disputes. She has extensive experience in bank and mortgage regulatory compliance, financial services litigation, including litigation involving acts such as the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Nanette also represents employers in various industries by providing advice, policy revisions and counseling, and is well-equipped to help employers navigate disputes or threatened litigation involving claims of discrimination and the administrative process. She also offers employers strategic advice on post-COVID employment practices, including compliance with OSHA mandates, navigating vaccination policies and exemptions, and managing remote work. Her in-depth knowledge of OSHA-related matters and litigation enables her to effectively guide clients through the appeals process and negotiate favorable settlements following inspections and citations.
