Overview
Nick primarily assists commercial real estate developers, publicly-traded REITs, national and regional financial institutions, landlords and tenants across various industries, renewable energy developers, and local government clients in purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, and mortgage-based financing.
Numbers-oriented and passionate about community development, Nick excels in his ability to understand complex financial structures while supporting clients in their pursuit of public financing. In Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois, Nick has experience with Community Improvement District (CID) formation and administration, Sales Tax and Revenue (STAR) Bonds, Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Industrial Revenue Bonds, Chapter 100 Bonds, and Missouri Works programs.
Prior to joining Stinson, Nick worked in the tax practice of a multinational professional services firm. Additionally, Nick has completed internships within all three branches of the federal government, including the chambers of a Federal Magistrate Judge, the Constituent Services Office of a United States Senator, and the Civil Division of the United States Attorneys' Office for the Eastern District of Missouri.
