Overview

Rob is well known for his work with both large and small company clients to facilitate the growth, commercialization and development of clean energy technologies and projects. Rob counsels them on all types of general corporate and business matters including commercial contracts, joint development agreements, construction and procurement contracts, real estate, agreements and other day-to-day legal and business issues. Rob also regularly represents telecommunications clients with respect to their real estate, property management, land use and zoning, and commercial matters. A significant part of Rob's representation has also included working with growth-oriented, closely-held businesses. In this capacity, he has counseled businesses on all types of general corporate, business and transactional matters, including commercial contracts, real estate, and transactional matters.

Experience

Primary counsel for a telecommunications service provider with regard to its wireless communication facilities and network in the Midwest, Mountain and Northwest areas.

Negotiation of wind turbine supply, balance of plant and repowering agreements in connection with wind-powered electric generation facilities.

Negotiation of equipment supply contract for the supply and commissioning of up to four 260MW combustion turbine generators.

Negotiation of catalyst supply and offtake agreements, as well as engineering and procurement agreement, in connection with the conversion of existing refinery facilities to produce renewable diesel.

Representation of a strategic investor in the negotiation of a Master Commercial Development Agreement for the development and operation of facilities to convert municipal solid wastes to biofuels.

Negotiation of an EPC and Site Services Agreement in connection with the joint development of a commercial-scale gas-to-liquids facility.

Formation of a joint venture involving the conveyance of production, transportation and pipeline assets valued at $650 million.

Serving for extended periods as on-site counsel for his client companies.

Representation of a strategic investor in negotiation of a Master EPC Agreement and related commercial agreements for the development and operation of facilities to convert waste plastic to synthetic crude oil.

Negotiation of many procurement and sales agreements for an international chemical intermediates and specialty materials manufacturer, as well as an international producer and marketer of fertilizer products.
