Overview
Steve focuses on representing parties in the financing of commercial real estate, energy and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience with affordable housing and renewable energy projects involving tax credit investments.
His representation of lenders, investors, developers, purchasers, sellers, owners and tenants of commercial real estate provides a firm foundation for an extensive range of financings throughout the U.S. Steve advises clients on projects ranging from hotel, industrial, affordable and market-rate housing, and retail developments to wind farm and solar energy projects.
Experience
Steve regularly represents national banks in programmatic real estate financing transactions throughout the United States.
Steve has in recent years represented construction lenders in landmark redevelopment projects involving multiple lenders and investors, low-income housing tax credits and new market tax credits.
As real estate counsel, he advised on the purchase of a portfolio of U.S. and Canadian power plant assets totaling over $1 billion and represents a Midwestern utility company on multiple bond issues.
