Overview

Chris is a paralegal in the Vorys Columbus office.  He assists the attorneys in managing the claims of several of the firm’s largest workers’ compensation accounts.  Chris has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the processing of claims through the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the Industrial Commission.  He also drafts pleadings, discovery responses and assists in trial preparation.  Chris has appeared at trial with attorneys for workers’ compensation cases.  Chris is certified by the Ohio Secretary of State to perform on-line document notarizations.

In addition, Chris has worked with attorneys in the firm’s real property tax group, toxic tort group and medical malpractice group.

Chris has assisted in the teaching of workers’ compensation fundamentals to students in the Capital Law School Paralegal Program.

Chris became a registered paralegal in 1997 after passing the Paralegal Advanced Competency Examination offered by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
