Overview
Morgan is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the labor and employment group. Morgan has represented management in employment and traditional labor matters, including single-plaintiff and class and collective actions in state and federal court, unfair labor practice charge proceedings and responding to union organization activity. Morgan has additional experience assisting with internal investigations and providing management training.
Morgan has represented clients in various administrative proceedings, including those for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.
Prior to joining Vorys, Morgan was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chelsey M. Vascura in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She worked in the Office of University Compliance and Integrity at The Ohio State University.
As part of her pro bono work, Morgan has worked with Advocating Opportunity, an organization that provides comprehensive trauma-responsive legal and support services to persons who have experienced sex and labor trafficking.
Morgan received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she was an online notes editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and the treasurer of the Black Law Students Association. She earned her B.A. magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, where she was the assistant drum major in The Ohio State University Marching Band.
