2018 Ohio Provider Resource Association Fall Conference

On October 25-26, 2018, attorneys Matt Albers, Nelson Cary, Suzanne Scrutton, Jolie Havens, and Liam Gruzs presented at 2018 Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA) Fall Conference. Albers presented, Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions, which covered the basic merger and consolidation principles, legal requirements, risks, and rewards.  Cary presented, Employment Law Updates for Providers, which provided the top ten legal developments in labor and employment law over the last twelve months. Scrutton, Havens and Gruzs presented, Responding To Payer Audits & Self-Reporting Overpayments, which provided the best practices for responding to a payer audit; beginning at requests for records and concluding at formal demand for repayment disputes.
