2023 Buckeye Financial Forum

Nici Workman, partner in the Vorys Columbus office and chair of the firm's finance practice, and Zach Brumfield, partner in the Vorys Columbus office, spoke at the 2023 Buckeye Financial Forum on April 25.  Their presentation was titled, "LIBOR’s Final Countdown: Swaps and Hedged Loans, the LIBOR Act, Synthetic LIBOR, Credit Spread Adjustments, and What Remains to be Done."  They discussed a number of topics including the LIBOR Act; FCA's announcement regarding the publication of synthetic USD LIBOR; credit spread adjustments for new originations; and what remains to be done prior to LIBOR's cessation as a representative rate after June 30.
