2024 Real Property Law Institute

Jay Carr and Sheila Nolan Gartland, partners in the Vorys Columbus office, presented at the 2024 Real Property Law Institute on February 8.  Their presentation was titled "Don’t Get Shafted!  How to Address Mineral Right Issues in a Real Estate Transaction."  They discussed ways to identify mineral rights; available options to manage mineral rights; and how to evaluate the use of available options.
