2025 NAPABA Convention 

Anna Sanyal, an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm's finance, energy and real estate group, participated in a panel, "Electric Vehicles, Electrification, and AI Data Centers: Meeting the Power Demands and Who Pays?", on November 8 at the 2025 NAPABA Convention in Denver, CO.  

The panel explored topics tied to increased electric vehicle usage and AI data server development and their accompanying electricity demands, including grid infrastructure challenges, low-carbon generation, energy storage, permitting processes and more. 

Anna was joined by three other attorneys, as well as Shao Pat Tsen, deputy executive director of consumer policy, transportation and enforcement for the California Public Utilities Commission.
