Employment Law Update & OBL HR Program for Community Bankers

Vorys attorneys Nelson Cary and Jen Dunsizer were speakers at the Employment Law Update & OBL HR Program for Community Bankers on September 22, 2014.

Mr. Cary’s presentation was titled Labor & Employment Update and he provided an update on important employment law developments from the courts, ranging from significant wage/hour lawsuits against banks to the EEOC’s new pregnancy discrimination enforcement guidance.

Mrs. Dunsizer’s presentation was titled Audits are Coming: Are You Ready? Her discussion focused on the increased audit activity of the IRS, DOL and HHS of all types of benefit plans, best practices for monitoring plans and correcting issues that you find before they are found by regulators and what to do when you get the dreaded audit notice.
