ILTACON 2016 Annual Educational Conference
Vorys Partners Rodney Holaday and Phil Downey were speakers at the ILTACON 2016 Annual Educational Conference from August 28 - September 1, 2016.
The title of Rodney's presentation was "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Amendments and Their Effect on Litigation Support Strategies." Rodney was a featured speaker alongside the Honorable Andrew J. Peck, U.S. Magistrate Judge Southern District of New York, Allison Stanton, Director of E-Discovery, FOIA, and Records U.S. Department of Justice, and Eric Lieber, Director of Legal Operations & Litigation Support Toyota Motor Sales. Their presentation focused on best practices and strategies for litigation support personnel given updates the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and specifically as to e-discovery issues.
The title of Phil's presentation was "Why UTBMS Codes Aren't a Waste of Time." Phil spoke alongside other legal professionals regarding UTBMS codes and how clients use them for electronic validation of invoice submissions to ensure compliance with outside counsel billing guidelines, budgeting and, of more recent importance, analyzing the services provided by outside counsel.
