Newly Enacted Transformational Mixed Use Development Tax Credit Part I

On December 29, 2020, Governor DeWine signed into law Am.Sub.S.B. 39, which provides for $100 million annually for the new Transformational Mixed Use Development (TMUD) tax credit. Vorys attorneys Scott Ziance and Sean Byrne and Ohio Development Services Agency Business Services Division Chief John Werkman will host the first of two panels in which they will discuss the new TMUD tax credit. The panel will discuss the TMUD project qualification requirements, competitive review process, how to successfully navigate the tax credit approval process and more. After the release of the administrative rules later this year, a follow-up session will be held.
