Service Dogs: What Every Business Should Know

Nina Webb-Lawton, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, presented a course for LawPracticeCLE titled, "Service Dogs: What Every Business Should Know." As service dogs become increasingly common, so do the pitfalls and problems for business owners who want to accommodate legitimate service animals, while weeding out untrained and disruptive pets. This course discussed the federal laws governing service dogs and service dog access and lay out clearly what steps a business owner can take and what questions they can ask.
