Appalachia Energy Law Conference

Anna Sanyal, an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group, participated in a presentation at the Appalachia Energy Law Conference at the Fairmont Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA on September 3, 2025.  Sanyal's presentation, "Navigating the Regulatory Landscape for the Energy Sector in Trump's Second Term," focused on the impact of recent executive orders on the energy sector, including the potential for changes in environmental compliance obligations, challenges in the development of renewable energy facilities and more.  She was joined by Joe Dawley, executive counsel of sustainability and regulatory law at the Baker Hughes Company and Matthew Morrison of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
