2025 IPT Annual Conference

Elissa Wilson, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm's national economic development incentives team, spoke at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation's Club Pro Royale event in Fort Lauderdale, FL on June 24.  She joined Nathan Regan, an economic development incentives negotiator from Google, in delivering the presentation "The Ripple Effect: Transforming Communities Through Industry Sector Hubs."  The session focused on Central Ohio and its growth into a hotspot for both data center development (Google, AWS, Meta) and tech and innovation development (Intel, Anduril, Amgen) and the local strategic initiatives that allow this growth, including infrastructure development, workforce training and economic development incentives.
