Mike Settineri and Scott Ziance, partners in the Vorys Columbus office, appeared at I.CON Central on November 4 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus in Columbus, Ohio.
Settineri, a member of the firm's energy group, appeared on a panel titled "Power at a Premium: What Developers Need to Know," which explored the increased demand for energy amid data center, electric vehicle and advanced manufacturing development. Settineri was joined by Matt Garver, director of development services for Prologis. The panel was moderated by Matthew O'Hare, managing director of the data structures group for Power Construction.
Ziance, chair of the firm’s national economic development incentives practice, moderated a panel titled "Real Talk: CRE End Users on Strategy, AI and Global Forces," which featured a group of Fortune 500 decisionmakers discussing how global trends, AI and energy constraints are shaping their real estate strategies. Panelists included Marino Colatruglio, vice president of global workplace and corporate real estate for Cardinal Health Inc.; Akiva Freeman, senior asset manager of corporate and supply chain real estate for The Kroger Company; and Tim Muckley, vice president of corporate real estate for The Sherwin-Williams Company.
