MWBLSA 2023 Academic and Leadership Conference

Jabari Shaw, an associate in the Vorys Cincinnati office, and Sydney Pahren, an associate in the Vorys Columbus office, presented at the Midwest Region of the National Black Law Students Association's (MWBLSA) Academic and Leadership Conference on September 8-10, 2023. 

Jabari's presentation was titled "Elevating Your Law School and Leadership Experiences" and delved into best practices for navigating law school and how those skills transfer to leadership in professional spaces.  He discussed how to be a leader and prioritize academic, professional and personal goals. 

Sydney's presentation was titled "Being A Lawyer: Things You Don't Learn In Law School" and discussed advice for law students entering the legal profession, finances, advancement and more.
