Stress Fractures in Democracy and The People's Response

Michael Donnelly, of counsel to the Vorys Cleveland office and former justice of The Supreme Court of Ohio, participated in a panel titled "The Independence of The Judiciary" at the Cleveland State University College of Law on October 24.  The panel was part of the wider event "Stress Fractures in Democracy and The People's Response," focusing on heightened pressures against public and private institutions and communities, reviews vehicles for redress available to aggrieved persons, attorney representation and civic participation in governance.

Michael was joined on the panel by Maureen O'Connor, retired chief justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, the Honorable Judge Carly M. Edelstein of the 10th District Court of Appeals for the State of Ohio and the Honorable Judge J. Philip Calabrese of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
